What you can expect
Who knew that teaching kids about fossils could be this much fun?
When you take part in one of our interactive fossil digs, you can expect a whole hour of educational fun.
Each dig kicks off with an exciting 30-minute presentation. You'll learn about the ancient history of the Yorkshire Dales and examine some incredible finds, including fossilised dinosaur eggs and a mighty megalodon tooth.
The second half is all about learning through play. Guided by one of our educational specialists, kids can comb through sand to uncover genuine ancient fossils. It's thrilling, hands-on fun.
At the end of the session, each child takes home a learning kit and a bagful of their fossil finds.
