Stump Cross Caverns is a historic and family-friendly attraction in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, offering visitors a unique underground experience along with a welcoming cafe. We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Weekend Cafe Assistant to join our friendly team.

As a Weekend Cafe Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our visitors have a fantastic experience. You will be primarily kitchen-based but must also be flexible to assist on the cafe floor when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve food items including panini's and toasties

- Assist with kitchen prep work and ensure cleanliness standards are maintained

- Wash dishes and maintain a tidy kitchen environment

- Deliver food to customers in a friendly and professional manner

- Support front-of-house operations when required, including taking orders and assisting guests

What We’re Looking For:

- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and help where needed

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Flexibility to work both in the kitchen and on the cafe floor

- Good communication and teamwork skills

- Previous cafe or kitchen experience is desirable but not essential

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £7.50-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
