Our Cosmic Adventures workshop is a magical blend of learning and creativity, designed especially for curious minds of all ages. In this interactive 1-hour experience, you'll dive deep into the mysteries of our universe through an engaging presentation and hands-on activities.

Get Creative
Bring the cosmos to life with exciting craft activities:
Create your own planets using air-dry clay and take home a piece of the solar system!
Build constellations and discover the patterns in the stars
Take It Outside
As the sun sets at 6pm and the stars begin to emerge, it's time to put your new knowledge into practice! On a clear night, we highly recommend heading to Coldstones Cut just 5 minutes from Stump Cross Caverns for spectacular stargazing – one of the best spots in the Yorkshire Dales to witness the magic of our dark skies.

running 2pm-3pm on weekends and daily within February Half Term.

Discovery Days:
Discovery days are the perfect way for you and your family to enjoy a full day out at Stump Cross Caverns. It includes Cave admission, Cosmic Adventures workshop, Re-entry into the Caverns after 3pm for the UV experience and a Geode to crack!
