bowerman.oliver • 27 November 2023

Looking for a unique Christmas present? Treat them to a cave adventure in Yorkshire with Stump Cross Caverns' new stalac-tastic gift vouchers.

Two wrapped gifts on wooden floor, decorated with greenery and red twine.

Looking for a thoughtful gift this Christmas? Why not give someone special a Stump Cross Caverns gift voucher ?

These vouchers can be used to visit the caves – but that means so much more than just a tour of the caverns themselves. They give you access to our full calendar of events and experiences – from fossil digs to private cinema sessions, from cream teas to children's parties.

The vouchers themselves are a sight to behold, with a design that reflects the awe-inspiring beauty of our subterranean wonderland.

Each voucher can be personalised with a message for the recipient and used to book admissions, packages and other experiences online.

What can you use your vouchers for?

Cave tour

A person stands in a cave illuminated by colorful lights.

Stalagmites! Stalactites! Gleaming rock formations! Book a trip to our magical underground grotto that you won't forget in a hurry.
Fossil and gem discovery dig

Woman in cavewoman attire smiles, throwing dirt in the air while holding a large club.

Join our resident Cavewoman in Stump Cross's cinema for an hour-long journey through Earth's prehistoric past – followed by a fossil dig where kids can learn about history and geology through hands-on play.

Cavewoman Party

Dried flowers in foreground, blurred children in background.

A fun-filled hour of party games, songs and dancing – all led by our real-life Stone Age Cavewoman. Kids can take home a free party bag – what's not to like?
Cafe

Restaurant interior with wooden tables, chairs, clocks on the wall, and decorative tree paintings.

Inside, a cafe hung with gorgeous antique clocks . Outside, the dales in all their vivid green glory. In front of you, home-cooked food and a warming drink. Looking out the window, you could be forgiven for thinking that time had stopped altogether.

Time Out Pod

A clock, champagne glasses, and autumn decor on a table, purple lighting.

On the hunt for a chill-out space with gobsmacking views? Then look no further than our Time Out Pod . It's ideal as either a social space or a conference room, where the change of scenery will be a breath of fresh Yorkshire air.

Gift shop

Three people looking at something in a shop, with clothes and objects around.

Pick up a gift or souvenir from our gift shop – from gemstones to fossil gifts, from artisanal ornaments to Stump Cross merch. Specialising in all things prehistorical, our gift shop has something for everyone.

Stump Cross Mining Co.

Wooden structure on a field with a tiered water feature and lookout tower. Sunset sky in the background.

It's not anywhere that you can be a miner for a day and pan for real gems . Any gems you find in our sluice can be taken home in a goody bag. A great mix of fun, fresh air and geology facts for children and adults alike.

Cinema hire

People laughing in an auditorium, a man and woman holding cards, balloons present.

Put your voucher towards a trip to our private cinema – a cosy hideaway where you can watch a film from our huge library or bring your own DVD or Blu-Ray.

And if you don't use up the full value of the voucher online, you can spend the rest in our gift shop and cafe. We guarantee you won't want to leave empty-stomached or empty-handed.

How much are the vouchers worth?

Our
Christmas gift vouchers can be worth £20, £50, £75 or £100. There's also the option to book cream tea for four people with an £88 voucher.

Want to know more about our vouchers or the events and experiences we offer?
Get in touch – we'd love to help. And as for the rest of you – guess we'll see you down in the caves…
