At Stump Cross Caverns, visitors love to explore our prehistoric chambers and passageways all year round. With its fascinating formations and stable temperature, it's an evergreen experience.

But we've got to say, there's something undeniably Christmassy about the caverns. Maybe it's the stalactites and stalagmites glimmering in the half-light. Or perhaps it's the flowstone formations like icing on a Christmas cake.

Whatever the reason for the festive vibe, Stump Cross is the ideal destination this Christmas season. We've put together a festive calendar of
joyful events and packages to make your Christmas an unforgettable experience.

From cave tours to Santa's grotto, there's something for everyone. Let's look at what's in store from November 30 to Christmas Eve.

Santa, Cave and Cinema Experience

No Christmas would be complete without a trip to Santa's grotto. And this year, Mr Claus is setting up grot' right here at Stump Cross.

Kids get to meet Santa, receive a gift and share their Christmas wishes. But there's more! As well as spending some quality time with Santa, children take part in a workshop making special reindeer food to take home and give to Rudolph and his friends.

The ticket price also includes a seat for a cosy screening of a classic Christmas film. And it's not just the film that's cosy. Our cinema is a warm, comforting environment ideal for cinema-goers of all ages.

People in tiered seating, laughing. Gold balloons, fairy lights, and two people holding cups.

On top of all that, visitors get to explore the caves at their own pace in a self-guided tour. Feast your eyes on stalagmites, stalactites, remarkable rock formations and gleaming flowstone. It's an ancient, naturally occurring winter wonderland!

So what are you waiting for? Get into the holiday spirit by

Christmas and Santa Experience (including cave entry)

This Christmas, we're also offering the Christmas and Santa Experience. This gives ticket holders entry to the caves, a meeting with Santa in his enchanting grotto and a reindeer food preparation session.

This choice doesn't include the festive film, so it's ideal if you're popping in for a shorter trip. Don't miss out!
